Testimonials

"I've wanted to start building from kits but, without a reference like yours, I was reluctant to start. I bought the book yesterday & read it last night. Very well written & illustrated. You put out an excellent publication. I flew control line planes 40 years ago, and have been flying RC for the past 1 1/2 years."

"Having been involved in Aero-Modeling since the early 1980s, I've certainly built my fair share of airplanes.  I find Carl Baer's "How To Make RC Airplanes Building System" an excellent resource indeed. This step-by-step guide starts off by showing you how to build a sturdy modeling bench and organize your work area, and then closely follows the construction of an rc airplane from a balsa kit. Detailed photos show you exactly what to do and where, plus all the building details, tips and tricks are clearly explained - including ones on how to save money along the way. The next time I build from a kit or a plan, this book is definitely going to be close to hand!"

Good Luck, and Happy Buying and Flying,

Carl Baer

I have been flying and building radio controlled airplanes, helicopters, boats and cars for over 20 Years. I have been specifically building and flying electric airplanes for over 10 years. My latest interest is to convert balsa wood kits with gas engines, to models with electric motors. This has been more realistic to do lately because of the huge leap in battery technology and it has been a very fun way to still make balsa kit planes from scratch, but not worry about any gas problems.

If you would like to know more about how you can build Balsa Kits too, then check out my complete building system book on How To Make RC Airplanes
